SCRIP-SAFE
For over 20 years, SCRIP-SAFE® International has safeguarded the vital documents and records of governments, research organizations, businesses, and institutions of higher education. When it came time to develop their next generation secured electronic transcript delivery software platform, SCRIP-SAFE® International enlisted EdgeCase.
SCRIP-SAFE initially partnered with a document security firm, shoehorning in their technology platform to deliver secure electronic transcripts to SCRIP-SAFE customers. This was a moderate success, convincing the leadership of SCRIP-SAFE to search for a solution tailored specifically for their customers and their plans for growth.
SCRIP-SAFE chose to partner with us to build out a fresh technology foundation for their company. Our agile approach yielded a secure electronic transcript delivery platform, satisfying their initial business needs. This platform has adapted gracefully and predictably with the changing requirements in their market. SCRIP‑SAFE subsequently chose EdgeCase to build two additional products using our low cost-of-change methodology.

Resort Gems
Resort Gems is an online marketplace where people can rent private villas at exclusive resort destinations at 30%-50% less than what hotels charge. They connect timeshare owners who want to rent their properties with no hassle with vacationers looking for a resort villa experience with all the amenities at less than "retail".

MedWiz Technologies
MedWiz Technologies is a leading provider of medication management and patient care solutions for long-term care facilities, physicians, and pharmacies. With the challenge to improve quality of care in an environment of continually increasing cost pressures MedWiz asked EdgeCase to join their team.
We were asked to join the project by a User Interface design team that had a great vision for the MedWiz project, but needed assistance in the implementation. By bringing agile development techniques to the table, we were able to focus on what was needed to get the product to market. By working closely with the end users, we iterated to a solution that truly met the users' needs.
Throughout the engagment, EdgeCase continued to work with MedWiz in the interviewing and hiring of an internal development staff for MedWiz. Through daily standup and pair programming, EdgeCase assisted in training the new staff in agile development techniques and process. At the end of the engagement, MedWiz had a solid development team ready to handle the product independently.

BNP Media
BNP Media has been serving industry professionals for over 80 years through its trade publications, web sites, conferences, and events. The company publishes over sixty trade publications covering industries ranging from manufacturing, architecture, and construction to gaming, packaging, and security. BNP Media web sites are valued industry resources, attracting over 400,000 unique visitors each month. When BNP management needed a solution for hosting online contests for their readers, they recruited EdgeCase for the job.
BNP approached us looking for two things: a contest management system and an application they could use as an example of how to do things right. They knew of our expertise and wanted an application they could learn from. Within a very short time, we were able to build out the app they needed, install it for them internally and solve their problem with large loads on the server.
The contest application went on to help them manage all the contests they ran for all the publications they had. It also acted as a model of how to use the Ruby on Rails platform. From testing to development, they were able to refer to this application as they continued to learn and develop internally.
