Lay the Foundation
Before we dive in to implementation, we'll work with you to outline high-level workflows, define your usability strategy, and begin to define the look-and-feel of the application. We'll outline the application architecture and infrastructure needs, and ensure you understand the tradeoffs of available alternatives.
Chart Our Course
We'll translate your requirements into discrete scenarios, called stories, that promote visible and predictable development. We'll capture these core features in interactive story-carding sessions, either face-to-face or via remote conference. We use the award-winning Pivotal Tracker tool to keep everyone on the same page.
Behavior Driven Principles
We practice pair programming to realize high-quality, low-defect output. We maintain a comprehensive test suite that not only protects against regressions throughout the life of the project, but captures an understanding of the system in language shared by business stakeholders and software developers alike. Further, it allows us to assess the technical health of the project tangibly and communicate that with you.
Short Feedback Loops
By actively maintaining a continual cycle of feedback on completed and upcoming stories, we monitor the pulse of the project and tightly control its direction. You can reprioritize upcoming work on the fly according to changing needs of the business. We are able to respond to defects quickly, catching them as early as possible in the development process, when they are the least costly.
